The historic First Presbyterian Church at 210 N. Spring Street is a fixture in the city of Murfreesboro. It was used as a hospital by both sides in the civil war, destroyed, replaced, damaged by the 1913 tornado, reimagined with modifications to the design of the structure and roof, and added to the National Register of Historic Places around the time of World War I.
Most recently, the famous old building’s well-known dome was in dire need of cleaning and repair. No simple task, as historical buildings require specific treatment, and the object in need is high atop an intricate roof where it is not easily accessible. Luckily for the City of Murfreesboro, in less than a minute’s walk down Spring Street, at 108 N. stands the cheerful office of Wright Construction of TN, Inc. Their skilled team was ready at a moment’s notice. Using the long reach of their articulating boom lift they were able to complete the job quickly and efficiently.
Serving Middle Tennessee since 1975, Wright Construction is not only a general contractor, but also specializes in residential and commercial construction. They offer a wide variety of services and boast several awards for their excellent work. With their help, the historic Presbyterian Church of Murfreesboro has been restored to its former glory.
